A friend or A Fr-enemies?

Assalamualaikum.

"Fickle Friends" written by Kirsten Weir.
A friend, someone who enter in our lives, once a stranger and sometime a best friends. Listen to our secrets, problems, shares our joys, tears and laugh. But is it a real friend? Is it his/her action is true to us?
Is he/her is sincere befriend with us?

This is the article of Fickle Friends is all about. A friend who we thought our real and the only one friend is actually have a double face or double personality. In front of her, they are our savior, our family. We treat them as an important pieces in our lives. But do we know that, a fr-enemies is someone who always there beside us but behind our back they are badmouthing about us to other people. They were innocent in front of us, but behind we would never know their true face. This situation is always happened in our lives. Especially teenagers, as they involved with different kind of people. Different personalities, different attitude. And we thought we had found one that suits our soul. Or we can call them soul mates.

But then again, it is just a lie, just a mere illusion that we created to believe they are the one and only we need. We came to believe that this friend is our lifetime friends. That would never leave us. But the truth is we never know. We find it difficult to let go these friends as we have shared a lot of things with them. We have been persuade by their kindness and thus, making us have a hard time to ignore them. Well, it is very normal to feel this kind of way. As they are our friends.

Irony much?

Assalammualaikum.

What is irony?
-In irony, the truth about contradicting situations are debatable. We could never be sure which one is true and which one is wrong.
It's like you talking about something positive but your conclusion is contradict with your first statement.

For example:
-I love to swim, but I don't know how to swim.
-I like chocolate but I don't eat them
-I want my assignments to be done without me doing it.

See the example. I'm sure it's clear enough to make you understand as this is the simplest sentence.

And this is the example of Britney Spears quote when she is fighting for her children.
"I give up my religion, my Christianity and Kabala, and now my children is my religion.

So there is an element of irony, she said she has given up her religion, but then she said her children is her religion. It seems twisted right. I will let you guys to think about it for a moment.

Reasoning in syllogism. Relevant or not?

TOPIC FOR TODAY's ENTRY.. TADAAA~
SYLLOGISM
Curious about what is syllogism?
is a kind of logical argument in which one proposition (the conclusion) is inferred from two or more others (the premises) of a certain form.
In our class, our awesome lecturer, has taught us to reason using syllogism. Wow, it rhyme doesn't it. :)Okay, we've done a bit of role-playing, where we have to wear a self-made toga using any cloth that we can find. And the funny thing is, it was very colourful and a bit smelly.(it's because they use their little blankie). LOL.
Toga is a cloth that have been used by the roman people. We've been transformed to the Roman wannabe for awhile. In this class, we learn how to reason using syllogism. If, you have never read about Julius Caesar Assassination, that means you're lame. LOL, just kidding. you can Google it.

Let me gives you an example reasoning using syllogism.
Elephant is big and fat.*** is big and fatTherefore, *** is an Elephant. (see as simple as that)

Another example is:
A good student study for their exams,Ummie does not study for her exams,Therefore, Ummie is not a good student.

In conclusion, syllogism is used when we need to reason something, to find its truth although it seems to be irrelevant. But, you can also try this. It's fun and can used to be mock someone as well . Have fun alright :)Till then, ciao.

Stupid or just being Funny?

Assalammualaikum.

Hi I'm Mr. Bean.

Rowan Atkinson, or popular with the name of Mr.Bean. His comedy shows was one of a kind. he can make people laugh only by looking at his face. Maybe he is the second Charlie Chaplin or maybe he has surpass Charlie. Who knows?

Rowan act in many types of movie. But, among all those character, his best character is Mr.Bean. He could never run away from it as Mr. Bean really leaves a big impact to the viewer who watched his comedy shows. He could be very funny and hilarious at time. And sometimes stupid. But, Rowan, managed to make it funny without looking stupid. He is the best.

To make people laugh is a very difficult job. Jokes does not always work in people. But Mr. Bean has proved that he could do it without any effort. Only by using facial expression, a very little word and action, he could make a baby stop crying and start laughing with his jokes. That is what makes Rowan Atkinson is the best comedy actor in the history. I might say, I miss Mr. Bean and will always live the fact that Mr. Bean is my best childhood story.

I am romantic? No. I am libertine? No. What am I?

Romance is when two people
is devoted in their relationship.

I've been reading this article called "are you a romantic or a libertine" by M. Scott Peck. Well, I might say the content attracts me to read them. It is interesting to see the author said about love, he called them 'symptom'. As for me, love have a very wide definition. It can be with your friends, family, your boyfriends, girlfriends and one and only, our creator of course. So, it can be called symptom if you only love someone when you started to care about that person.

In this entry, I want to talk about romance. The author define romance as "a prevailing sense of wonder or mystery surrounding the mutual attraction in love affair". When people start to try impress their lover with presents, flowers and in any kind of way, it is called romantic ritual. There are two types of "romantic ritual".
a) Obligatory romance
This type of romance is when, the lover will remember all special date and celebrate them according to the dates and give any present, celebrate birthday for their beloved. Not much of effort is needed because the lover will only be romantic in specific occasion.
b) Optional romance
This type of romance is spontaneous. They try to come out with different kind of ideas in order to impress their beloved and to make sure they still in their beloved heart. The lover do not only celebrate in specific date but they would celebrate it anytime they want. This type is more romantic and they will do anything to make sure their beloved happy.

Well, I prefer optional romance more because most of the girls love it when they get surprises not only on special occasion but in everyday life, don't they. Well I am. How about you?

Too many hearts being broken but one remained untouched.

What about libertine?
The Libertine only concerned with their own personal feelings with no regards of other. The famous person is of course Giacomo Casanova himself. He enjoy his life of being surrounded by many girls and not stick with only one person and only put their feelings first instead of their beloved. This type of love is somehow not preferable because it can hurt other people's feeling.
While, Romantic often treats their beloved as hard to possess but very precious to them. They will appreciates their beloved and do anything to make sure their beloved is happy and put their beloved feelings first instead of them. This will hurt that person if their love is a one-sided love. Sometimes it can make a person be very spirited, but sometimes it can put you really down.

Do you rather have a Casanova or a Romantic?

Before I close my entry let we all asked ourselves :
Should one put aside his or her personal feeling and put the beloved object's feeling first?

Chapman has the capability in handling knives and operates human body which suits the victim’s condition.

Chapman moved to London without any motives/ concrete reason

Argument

The duration between Chapman’s arrival to London and the murders is close to each other

Sub Argument

During that time, Chapman resided near to the place of murders and works as barber in Whitechapel.

Premise 4

Chapman had a regular job as a barber in Whitechapel.

Argument

The murders only occurred in the weekends which mean he has leisure time during the weekends.

Sub Argument

Chapman's wife, Lucy gives a statement that George always staying outside during the weekend.

This is the affidavit of our prosecutors group and we believed that George Chapman is Jack the Ripper. The article of his background will be included. It is now up to you to determine who is Jack The Ripper.

Men vs Women?

Assalamualaikum,

In previous class, we have learned about inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning.

An inductive reasoning is observing the specific evidence to general conclusion. While deductive is from general conclusion to specific details. What is this theory having anything to do with man vs woman? Okay, generally, we always think that man is an observing human being. While woman, instead are more delicate but is straightforward.

However, in the class, I learned that men especially are most likely to use deductive reasoning in their daily life rather than inductive reasoning. Why is that so? Well, our lecturer tells us that men are usually straightforward. They do not like to keep things complicated. For them, being direct and simple is the only way they could act. Men often use dysphemism when having conversation with their group.

Different from women they use inductive reasoning because they are a delicate human being that does not speak frankly but use any other words to deliver their true message to people. However, it is a nature for women to be shy and not direct when telling people what they want. People often said that woman is complicated but it is our nature to be soft and use proper word when converse with people. This is because women normally would not want to hurt other people by being too frank. So women tend to use euphemism when talking.

Speaking of this, I think women do not always use inductive reasoning. We can be frank when needed. It is only that men sometimes does not understand how delicate is women’s feelings. That is why they are often an argument happens between men and women. Both use different ways to interact and deliver their message.

Men in other way round are the simplest species. Their simplicity sometimes can lead to argument whether they have feelings or not. They were too direct and they do not understand how women feelings are. That is why; we always misunderstood their real intention. Whether they are joking or being real.

So, men vs women… I think men should be considerate and women should be more open. If this could happen, the world may be in peace forever. J

Steve Jobs.

Ever wonder who is he?

He is the founder of the greatest technology of all. What technology? Of course, Apple and PIXAR. See, how great he was. Despite his greatest invention of all, this man, Jeff Goodell, said he was abrasive, unapologetic person and so many ugly sides of Jobs. Who knew he could be such person.

He is cold and abrasive but amazing inside

The article “Steve Jobs Nobody Knew” surely gives a big shock to whoever read it. Steve could be such freaks, demanding, and perfectionist. Well, he sure can be one. Who could ever deny that he was the creator of Apple and PIXAR? No one. So, it is really acceptable for him to be sometimes ‘a pain in the arse’ right?

No matter how Goodell writes about Steve Jobs, he still is one of a kind. Jobs never manage to graduate from college. He is a drop-out. Who could ever imagine he can be as successful as he was, well, the fact that he died is one thing. But, does anyone ever think like him? Well, maybe some, but no one can make it for real. Steve is different, he think, he planned and he did. That’s the real him.

Old doesn't mean to stop inventing

Even if he did wrong to his co-workers, push them to the limit, which is because he wanted them to be like him, passionate about their work. Be a person who can make it work. That was his intention. Steve Jobs, know what he was and he is still the best creator of all no matter what people said about him.

The Hand of Melodies

The Pianist(2002)

A tragic story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, a fine gentleman, who is also a Polish-Jewish pianist in Warsaw. The tragedies happen to his family and all Jewish people started when the Nazi Germany declared war in Poland. It does not ended that quickly the war. The people in Warsaw have to suffered first for a very long time.

This story depicts the life of the Jews, where their rights being taken a little by little. Not just being limited to certain areas, their money have to be limited too and eventually they were being driven out from their communities and placed at the ghetto. Wladyslaw experienced the most cruel, crazy and insane actions that the Nazis shown towards the Jews. They've been killed inhumanly, tortured and so many things have been done to them.

A fine gentleman who had to be labeled and suffered a big loss.

He was left behind after his family been resettled at the "melting pot". This is where he tries to survive and do anything just to live. One by one, his acquaintance being killed or hiding in a far country. He suffered so many things and experience a very bad health condition.

Despite the terrible situation his in, he stills have the love for music. He continues to hear the sounds of a music pieces playing inside his head. He did not lose his ability to play music. This leads to the discovery of the captain in one of Nazis army. However, Wladyslaw survived as the captain was moved by his piano musics and spare him. The musics does not stop them until that time but continues as friendship began to take place.

Moved by the melodies of music and creates a bond between two unlikely person

Even in a mess, the two oddness was able to befriend and however, this shows that not every Nazis was determined to kill the Jews. For this movie, it is not a good communication that makes them friends, but a good soul of music that bond them together. Although, one could not survive in a war, the friendship that happened is still within them. Musics was never meant to be a language, but a melody that keep everyone in pace.

From Hell

"From Hell" directed by Allen Hughes and Albert Hughes is a movie based on a serial killer, Jack the Ripper that involved in the year of 1888. This story is about 5 streets prostitutes that involved in a very complicated incident that leads to the death of the prostitutes one by one. They were killed with their body was being ripped apart; organs are removed from the body and the throat was cut.

Amazingly, this story is somehow, you would want to watch it till the end. Although, you can guess the killer in the middle of the story makes it less heart-beating, but the plot that have been set in this movie is good enough to make the viewer wondering for what is going to happen next.

This movie is very controversial because the involvement of Freemason in it, the Jews, the people in London. So, that makes this story more tense and exciting as well. This is a story that must be watched for those who are really loves mystery and thriller movie.

What's Wrong Being A Jews?

As controversial as the topic above, it is not likely that I want to say that I'm a Jew. In the article of The Jews and their Deceits-Adolf Hitler, he states that the Jewish people is a liar, full of secrets and has evil planned hiding inside their Jews community. He insisted that the Jews should be vanished from the world as they are deceptive, frauds and so many more. But, what do we as a normal human being know about Jews?

Keep our religions perceptive aside for awhile. Although we've been taught that the Jews is the masterpiece behind every evil planned to destroy our Islam community but when we think of them as a human being, do every one of them is planning on destroying Islam. Evil in every way? Think about it again. Yes it is true that there is a lot of articles, newspaper or anything about the Jews that makes us against them. It is true again that they are a proud people. They are very proud about their background, their genetics inheritance. Everything about them seems, to make us against them.

Stop here now and try to be one of them when the World War II happened. What happened to the Jews? Did they have a great life by then? No, they were treated like a cockroaches. There is a need for the Nazis to kill everyone of them, from the father until their children. As a human being who have a emphatic senses, do we need to agree on all the ideology that Hitler brought up? Well, there is a one thing or two that I can agree on Hitler, because the idea of the Jews having a secret set-up is something that I still believe since the case in Iraq and Palestine. But, I'm talking about the Jews during World War II. So, it was like the dark moment in their life. Imagined, the whole community of the Jews being killed and tortured till death and no mercy were given to them.
Over millions were dead during that time. Few survived. With those few, they tried to stand up and growth back their population to live again.

Here is the thing about Nazis, they are cruel, violent, no humanity and selfish. The Jews have no chance to survived under Nazis regime. The Nazis despised the Jews and Marxism, because for them, they are a very lazy human being. This was the thing about Nazis, they listen to Adolf Hitler, and the speeches he delivered makes his followers too obsessed with their leader. This lead them to act violently to the Jews. So, how do you expect the Jews to act. No, they could not even fight against Nazis. This is what the ideology of Hitler has made them.

So, if we were to say that the Jews is cruel, we have to look back at the past and think about what has the Nazis did to them. They are a normal human being, not everyone wants to kill. There must be one out of 10 people want peace. There are no difference than us in Malaysia. We fight for our rights, but to others it does not seems right. Maybe the Jews also share the same thing with us. Think again as a normal men and women. We do not need our perception clashes with the nature of humanity that is fighting for peace.

So, what's wrong being a Jews?

The Degree of Happiness- What is happiness??

The Degree of Happiness by Bertrand Russell is talking about two sort of happiness. He is suggesting that the degree of happiness is to say one sort is open to any human being and the other only to those who can read or write. The level of happiness between this two groups are different from what Betrand is trying to convey.

Being happy doesn't care our status or anything matters,
because it only shows who we are, as a human being

In this article, he said he has seen how a person who knew nothing about reading or have any idea on how to write could reach the high level of happiness in his life. He tries to tell that happiness is not something could depend on intellects or something about fashions, fads and so on. But it depends on how the person could manage to face any obstacles in their life and turn it into their very own private happiness when they could achieve it. That is how his perception on people who living their life happily in everything they do. But, what about the so-called educated people? Do they feel happy?

Happiness is abstract

He convinced us that the superior people like himself can also feels happy, but what kind of happy they feels instead of being happy on a simple thing. He says that there is also certain feelings of happiness can happen to each one of them. Not all well-educated people feels happy. But, he suggested that the feeling of happiness among this socialites is far much bigger. Nevertheless, he also stated that men in sciences is far more happier than artist, because art depends on emotion while science is always finding a solution. This prove that he is being bias towards the person who is more to art person.

For this article, well mostly I could not really agree with Bertrand Russell. What does the significance by distinguish the happiness in these two group of people. That will bring us back to the real definition of happiness? What is happiness actually? Does it something we consume everyday? Or the feelings we feel? So, happiness is an abstract feelings. Everyone can feel this emotion. The taste of being happy. By differentiate it apart does not make any difference at all. Everyone can feel the same, no matter what they are, who are they. We as a human being share the same feelings. That is why, happiness is abstract. It doesn't matter a small or a big thing, if we feel happy, then that's it. Happiness is not something we can find easily, it is something that we can achieve from our own self.

To be honest with this article, I would define happiness is when every smallest thing that happens to delight us is happiness. Happiness in this context cannot be sort into two groups because, the non-elite people can feel the same feelings of happiness the same with elite people and vice versa. Happiness is ubiquitous. We can feel them everywhere, anywhere or anything that we find can make us happy.
